Areas of Expertise
Resilient Lotus Psychotherapy Provides
Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy.
I specialize in the conditions of chronic illness, anxiety, & developmental trauma. I am a bilingual provider, and can serve those who speak Spanish or English.

I bring unique experience, perspective, empathy, and guidance to my clients through my own adversity, resilience, and learning.

I have 8 years of experience as a mental health professional. Many who come to me find it difficult to manage pain, anxiety, emotions, or to feel understood and develop deep connections. Throughout my time in the field, I have worked with adolescents, adults, and couples.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), it is very important to me that transparency, authenticity, and quality of care be present in the services I provide. I offer support to family members, loved ones, and caretakers of people with chronic conditions or illnesses. My aim is to help them better understand what the person they love is experiencing, how they can better process and cope, and how they can best support the person they love.
Through Resilient Lotus Psychotherapy, I am currently able to provide individual and couples therapy via telehealth throughout California; note that I do not offer in-person therapy at this time.
My Personal Experiences & Training Aid Me In Assisting Clients To Learn & Utilize:
• Adaptive coping strategies
• Develop a sense of acceptance for what is out of their control
• Foster a more balanced perspective.
My therapeutic approach also incorporates humor, direct yet mindful feedback, problem solving along with exploration of past experiences, and providing a space where clients can develop insight into the self and their life.

As a bilingual provider, it is also imperative that there be consideration of how a client’s culture might be impacting their overall experience. I value and honor individuality and
therefore, adapt to ensure the needs of every client are met.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-
CBT is what I prefer to use at the start of treatment. It supports clients in increasing awareness of what negative behavioral and thought patterns might be impacting them. It lends to discovering any potential maladaptive thought patterns, as well as practical skills to effectively work through them.

-
Attachment Informed Therapy
-
This approach explores your early years of life and how your relationship with family members could form your attachment style. This can have a profound effect on the health of your romantic as well as general relationships as an adult.
-
-
Psychodynamic
-
This approach places significant emphasis on the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. It aims to increase one's insight into the connection between past experiences on current behavior, and how unconscious programming can play a significant role in our day-to-day lives.
